Rain clouds kept us off the bikes again today but it didn't stop us from Monday adventures. This week travelling to Minden opened our eyes to some great cafes in this sweet town. The dream of connecting food & drink with my pottery was alive and well today. I know things take time and I must be patient but I'm SO excited to grow the coffee drinks and snack offerings at Chetolah.
First we visited The Gravity Coffee House which is cosy & full of amazing offerings from coffee & tea to smoothies like the one I got with a banana, almond milk, almond butter and an espresso shot. Super delicious:)
From there we headed down the street and happened upon a new spot called Up River Trading Company. This spot has a cafe and gift store with a great new patio along with some fun clay ideas. My favourite piece being a lovely white mug with an owl in the bottom.
It was fun to be a tourist in a local town for part of a day. I love getting inspired by getting outside of the studio which only makes me want to return and get working again.
