During the summer when life is super hectic it's important to take some deep breaths to keep from burning out. This past Monday was what will hopefully be a weekly tradition during this busy time of year to get out of the studio. Exploring the beauty of the area while cruising on our bikes to pottery studios I've wanted to visit since I first moved to the area 7 years ago. FIrst on the list was Lindgren Pottery and although we didn't get to meet Eric or Cathy Lindgren, we got a great tour from Edith.... their dedicated assistant. Also got a sweet little blue mug that is perfect for a morning cappuccino. We must return to get more information on building our own propane kiln and meet the couple who have been running their studio since 1981 which is coincidentally the same year I was born!!!
