I've been told breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I think these little bowls are the perfect size for such things.
A lovely friend has been sending me photos of her fabulous food creations & I needed to share them. I made these love plates as a wedding gift to her & her lovely lover this spring. The tumblers I made with their initials on them for birthdays - I think. I love seeing my pots being enjoyed so anytime you want to send me photos....just do it!
The wait is finally over and after almost 5 years of renovations......'All The Best Fine Food' is operating out of the amazing new space. Exciting news is that amongst the displays of gourmet food you will find Tara's pottery. The only location in Toronto selling her fun + useful pots. Check out the great write up in Toronto Life Magazine!
A lovely friend sent me this photo the other day of her yummy breakfast in a fern bowl. I love hearing when people get joy out of using one of my handmade pots. Thanks.
Last week when the bus wasnt running due to the G8, my friends got to miss school so we had dinner and a sleepover. It was amazing for so many reasons but one of them was our dinner. The girls picked out some of my finished pots from the gallery and brought them up to the house to use in our dinner. Look at all the yummy & healthy food they made!
I always love it when friends come to visit me (who doesn't?) But I especially love it when they come with yummy food. My dear friend Sue came to pick up an order of custom pouring hearts for a reunion she was having and she brought an amazing picnic. I insisted we dine on my pots and on the deck we had a glorious feast of goat cheese, fresh bread, quinoa salad, tomatoes and mango something juice. It was delicious, nutritious and (in my humble opinion) that much more so being eaten out of handmade pots.
Just finished making these lidded beauties. In this picture they are just drying and in about a week when they are dry....I will bisque fire them. Hope to have these finished for the Muskoka Arts and Crafts Spring Members Show.
I enjoyed a great long weekend with the family. One of the many lovely things with having mom come visit is all the tastey food & let overs. Monday eve and finished rearranging a friends living room furniture (how satisfying!!!) Pulled out roast squash/sweet potato soup, salad, crusty bread & cream cheese & lobster spread. yum.
New circle platter & last years soup bowl
