Cleaning out some folders I happened upon these photos and it was such a lovely experience I wanted to do a post about it. January 2012 I was able to visit my amazing friend in her hometown of Paonia, Colorado. During my visit, I spent a few days in a beautifully bright & positive pottery studio. The Creamery Arts Center in Hotchkiss....a neighbouring town to Paonia was the perfect spot to create some fun little lidded pots. The people running the show there were super friendly & helpful. It opened my eyes to ideas for the future of creating my own community clay studio as well as new glaze colours. I look forward to more experimenting in clay as I travel in the future.
It's become an annual thing that I get to rearrange the furniture in my parents house and put my pots on display all over their beautiful home. Enjoy sipping on something sweet or indulging in one of mom's culinary delights while you check out all the new clay creations. Lots of new designs and forms to see, feel & purchase! Mark it on your calendar now and contact me for special orders.
